Our Client is a unique and award-winning wedding and events venue in Gloucestershire, and we are looking to expand our housekeeping team.

We are recruiting for a Head Housekeeper to manage all cleaning operations across the house. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team, maintaining our exceptionally high standards, and ensuring every guest enjoys a spotless room and beautiful surroundings.

You will lead by example, cleaning rooms and reception spaces to our standards while motivating and training the team to do the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing, motivating and training housekeeping staff to our clients cleaning standards
• Handling guest queries or issues professionally and promptly
• Reporting room damage or breakages to the maintenance team to ensure repairs are completed before the next guest arrival
• Cleaning bedrooms and reception rooms to a consistently high standard
• Maintaining clean, tidy and well-organised linen rooms
• Learning and following procedures for linen, security, keys, lost property and stock control
• Ensuring the safety of yourself, the team and guests by adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Meeting agreed productivity targets so rooms are ready for check-in
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues when required

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or supervisory role
